How does tirzepatide work?

It is thought that precisely this combination of GLP-1 and GIP leads to a stronger metabolic response in research than a GLP-1 substance alone. Tirzepatide vs. semaglutide (Ozempic) and retatrutide

Tirzepatide adds GIP and is therefore dual: two switches. Retatrutide goes one step further and also activates the glucagon receptor — a triple agonist with three switches.
